obnoxiously was all I FEEL ROTTEN and I was all HOW CAN I MAKE THIS BETTER and she said YA KITTENS so 
those of you who are new around these parts should get used to kittens, by the way, because they are kind of a. Recurring theme over here um. If you don't like super heroes drawn as cats you might want to go somewhere else.
in other news I really really don't like coleslaw but I keep forgetting and eating it and then regretting it. :c

May. 8th, 2009 02:03 amWELL I wanted to draw more today, I have a ton of stuff I want to draw right now that I haven't had the time to lately but I have only managed this (also this icon – I have no reason to use it with this post other than I DREW IT TODAY)
This is .. uh. Pixie and Roxas at Daisychain just met and we already ship them WHOOPS. For those of you only familiar with one of them, Roxas doesn't have a heart, and Pixie is missing a part of her soul. It itches. Therefore in her estimation it makes perfect sense to assume that not having a heart itches, too.
Roxas does not think this makes perfect sense.
HAHA new journal means I can be assed to make organised tags. LET'S SEE HOW LONG THIS LASTS
to remind myself, my to-draw list is currently thus (in no particular order):
• more silver age Avengers
• more kittens (suggestions completely welcome)
• Marvel covers redrawn with cats
• a couple of commissions
• Temeraire and Billy +ridiculous coat
• more Pixie because damn is she fun to draw

YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY
May. 4th, 2009 09:41 pmSo I've been watching the Land Before Time for like the first time in a few years, I think, and I never really noticed before how unusually gender-neutral it is? Is that just me? Like the character designs as much as anything else, they just all look like dinosaurs (with eyelashes, but they're as prominent on Littlefoot as on Cera so wevs), you can't tell which of Littlefoot's grandparents is supposed to be male and which is female when they're not talking. And the main characters themselves are all just little dinosaur individuals as opposed to being defined by gender. And all of them make mistakes and do stupid things without being bad people (or, uh dinosaurs) for it.
